Driving Directions
From Manhattan:
Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel (max. height 12'). At the end of
the tunnel stay all the way to the right, and take the
first exit immediately after the toll
booth. Make a right unto Borden Avenue and keep going to the end -
heading towards the Manhattan Skyline.
From Queens:
Take the B.Q.E. (Brooklyn Queens Expressway) and take exit
L.I.E. (Long Island Expressway) going West towards Midtown
Tunnel. Take
last exit before the tunnel
(Van Dam Street). Stay on the service road, which becomes Borden
Avenue. Proceed all the way to the end - heading towards the
Manhattan
Skyline.
From Long Island:
Take the L.I.E. (Long Island Expressway) going West towards
Midtown Tunnel. Take last exit before the tunnel (Van
Dam Street). Stay on the service road,
which
becomes Borden Avenue. Proceed all the way to the end - heading
towards the Manhattan Skyline.
From Brooklyn:
Take the B.Q.E. (Brooklyn Queens Expressway) towards
Triborough Bridge. Exit at McGinnis Blvd / Humbolt.
Turn left at the
bottom of the ramp under
the
expressway. Follow McGinnis Blvd all the way over the bridge.
Make first left unto Jackson
Avenue. At the next corner turn right-left-right unto Borden
Avenue. Proceed all the way to the end - heading towards the
Manhattan Skyline.
From 59th Street Bridge:
Take the lower level, then follow signs "Jackson Ave / City Corp." Jackson
Avenue leads all the way to Borden Avenue. Make a right and proceed all the way
to the end - heading towards the Manhattan Skyline.
From Triborough Bridge:
Take B.Q.E. (Brooklyn Queens Expressway), which begins there.
Take exit L.I.E. (Long Island Expressway) going West towards
Midtown
Tunnel, but
stay on the
service road bearing left along side the B.Q.E. The service
road becomes Borden Avenue.
Proceed all the way to the end - heading towards the Manhattan
Skyline.
From Whitestone Bridge:
Follow signs to Grand Central Parkway West. Take exit B.Q.E.
(Brooklyn Queens Expressway), which begins there. Take
exit L.I.E. (Long
Island Expressway) going West towards Midtown Tunnel, but
stay on the service
road bearing
left
along
side the B.Q.E. The service road becomes Borden Avenue.
Proceed all the way to the end - heading towards the Manhattan
Skyline.
Subway Directions
No. 7 Train:
Stop: Vernon/Jackson. Use exit "Vernon Blvd", not "Jackson Ave",
which lets you out on 50th Avenue. Borden Avenue is one block past 51st Avenue
(runs parallel to the LIRR). Make a right and walk towards the Manhattan Skyline,
all the way to the end of the street (about two long blocks). We are located
next to the Waterfront Crabhouse Restaurant. |
