iWeiss – Installation Foreman

Job Description

iWeiss Theatrical Solutions is a leading provider of drapery, rigging, and installation to a wide range of clients in theater, education, construction, retail, and special events.  We are seeking Installation Foremen to join our freelance installation team.  Strong theatrical rigging and construction experience is a must.  A fully functional knowledge of both Counterweight and Motorized rigging is required. 

Duties will include:

-        reading and reviewing project drawings with project manager

-        working closely with installation shop foreman

-        managing both union and non union crews

-        oversight of all work performed and materials delivered to job site

Candidates must have the ability to run a safe and efficient crew on projects that are broad in their range and scope.   Experience with Union Crews - both IATSE and the Building Trades - is required.  Most work is in and/or around the Tri-State area, though must be willing to travel when the need arises.  OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training is a requirement for all candidates, or must be obtained within (60) days from the date of hire.  ETCP Rigging Certification is a plus. Hourly rates are competitive within the industry and are negotiable based on experience.
