The New School of Music, NYC - Mannes Opera

For their 2009 performance of 'La Traviata' Mannes Opera used a sheer contour venetian curtain combined with a sheer backdrop as their main soft set piece. The trapezoid-shaped venetian curtain framed the stage beautifully, while providing multiple looks with changing contours and lighting. Manual operation during scene changes provided an impressive set piece at a reasonable budget.
