The Coronado Theatre - Rockford, IL

During the restoration of the historic Coronado Theatre in Rockford, IL, Westlake Reed Leskovsky Architects turned to I. Weiss for assistance in replicating the House Curtain and Grand Valance. Our solution was to use scenic painting in place of the embroidery which would have been well beyond their budget. A flying truss was used for the valance so that it was easily removed when required.
