PLASA is the lead international membership body for those who supply technologies and services to the event, entertainment and installation industries. As a pro-active trade association, it looks after the interests of its members and seeks to influence business practices and skills development across the industry.PLASA owns and manages the PLASA Show and PLASA Focus events and publishes leading industry magazines Lighting&Sound America, Lighting&Sound International and Protocol.

Lighting&Sound America is the U.S. monthly publication for the Professional Lighting & Sound Association (www.plasa.org). LSA mails to 18,000 and publishes 13 issues per year, monthly plus the annual LSA Directory. PLASA was formed over 27 years ago and currently has over 500 members worldwide, including the leading specialists in professional audio, lighting, staging, rigging, AV, communications, and related disciplines; produces the annual September PLASA trade show in London, and also publishes the UK-based Lighting&Sound International magazine.
LHAT is a network of people who appreciate the cultural and architectural heritage of historic theatres and who work locally and nationally to rehabilitate them to serve communities throughout North America and abroad.
