Mega Hardware

The Mega-Beam Clamp is a low profile sliding jaw design that allows you to secure your load as close to the I-Beam as possible. The spring loaded handle locks after adjustment. Aluminum construction is half the weight of steel units and has a wider gripping range.

The 8” model has a 3 ton rating. The two aircraft aluminum jaws are adjusted on the 3/4”-6 tpi Acme threaded shaft. Fastens from 2 inch to 8 inch wide I-beam flanges up to 1” thick. The 16" model has a 6000 pound rating and fastens from 3 inch to 16" wide I-beam flanges up to 1" thick.

The Mega Claw allows one man to hang intelligent lighting fixtures. Simply flip the link up, place clamp over the pipe and the Mega-Claw holds the weight of the fixture for you while you secure it.

The Swivel Claw consists of two Mega-Claws held back to back with a rotating steel pin, for joining lamp bars to truss, etc…

The Mega Coupler's solid nut has tabs that won’t break off. Mega-Coupler uses standard half inch by 1-1/4 inch long hex head grade 8 bolts to secure your load. Has industry compatible 14 mm thick base.

The Swivel Coupler will fasten from 1-1/4” pipe (1.660” OD) to 2.050” OD truss tube. The Swivel-Coupler has the wide wing nuts for fastening the clamp to the pipe or tube. The Swivel Coupler can be locked into a 90 degree fixed coupler by adding a 7/32” x 2” spirol pin.

The Mega-Burger's quick flip handle instantly locks on 2” truss tube or 1-1/2” schedule 40 pipe. Preset clamp for your pipe size. Releases with a pull on the safety enclosed trigger.

Designed for permanent pipe grid installations in studios and theaters. Joins 2 overlapping pipes together in a 90 degree joint. Grooves act as a wrench holding the nut from turning while installing. Installs with ¼” hex key tool in a battery drill.

Fastens any combination of 1-1/2” pipe (1.9” OD), 1-1/4” pipe (1.66” OD), and 2” OD Tube. (Tight fit on 2” OD tube)

Quickly joins two pipes in line together without drilling or threading for permanent or temporary installations. The Mega-Quick Pipe Splice is the same outside diameter as the pipe for a nice flush look and feel.

Install by loosening the set screw one half turn with a quarter inch hex key to open the splice. Align the set screw so that it will be on the side of the pipe joint. (This will give the maximum strength to the joint.) Pinch the bars together at one end, and insert the splice into the first pipe. Then pinch the other ends of splice together and isert the splice into the second pipe. Slide the pipes tight toward the splice and tighten set screw securely with the one quarter inch hex key.

The Mega-Track Hanger makes it easy to hang 140 or 300 series track onto pipe grids, or from individual pipes. There are two versions of the Mega-Track Hanger. The Mega-Track Hanger Short hangs from the lower pipe of the grid and secures the track just 3/16 of an inch below the grid pipe. The Mega-Track Hanger Long hangs from the upper pipe of the grid and has an offset length from the track to the pipe the diameter of the bottom grid pipe plus 3/16 of an inch. The Mega-Track hanger Long has two different track hanging slots so that it will work with either 1-1/2” or 1-1/4” schedule 40 pipe grids.

Both of those Mega-Track Hangers use a Mega-Gridlock half to fasten over the pipe and secure from below with four 5/16” socket head screws. The Mega-Gridlock half has slots along the edge that act like a wrench to hold the four Nylock nuts from turning during installation. Only a slight downward pressure with your fingers is required to hold a nut in place for installation. The track hanger slides over the track prior to placing the track in position. Support track approximately every 4 feet.

The Mega-Truss Dolly easily holds truss for transport or storage. 5” aluminum channel has CNC milled cutouts for truss to ride in. The truss is secured tightly with an E-Clip ratchet strap before transport on its two 350 pound rated four inch heavy duty casters. Any size and quantity of truss is available up to 48” in total length.

Mega-Truss Dollies are priced each. It takes at least two Mega-Truss Dollies to make a working unit. (Some users prefer to use 3 Mega-Truss Dollies if they are working with steep ramps.) A pair of Mega-Truss Dollies will carry up to 1400 pounds of truss.

The Mega-Truss Pick is CNC machined from solid 1” x 6” 6061 T-6 aluminum billet. Two pockets cut into the Mega-Truss Pick have coupler style aluminum pivoting links, half inch swivel bolts, and our solid wing nuts to completely wrap around the truss tube to secure it.

The Mega-Truss Pick has one top and one bottom rigging hole for attaching the truss to a shackle, motor, or chain hook. The Mega-Truss Pick will suspend up to one ton of truss load, plus an additional one ton load suspended under the truss. The Mega-Truss Pick weighs less than 4 pounds for the 12” truss version. Other models are available for 16”, 18”, 24”, and 30” truss.
