How to apply Wire Rope Clips
|
|
When using U-bolt clips, it is important to make sure they are attached correctly. The "U" section is in contact with the rope's "dead end" and is clear of the thimble. The "live end", carrying the load, is gripped by the saddle of the clip.
|
Failure to make a termination in accordance with the instructions, or to check periodically and retighten to the recommended torque, will cause a reduction in efficiency rating.
